Description
STOLECT develops an electricity storage technology process based on the reversible conversion of electrical energy into thermal energy, using turbomachines (turbines, compressors). STOLECT is currently building a first full-scale demonstrator of this innovative and durable technology.
Skills, services, products in the water sector
A use case for the technology is desalination plants. They could function during the night by storing solar electricity during the day.
Skills, services, products in the energy sector
Stolect's technology provides clean and dispatchable electricity, thus avoiding the use of fossil fuels during periods of low renewable production.
